The law behind it
RERA Sections 9-10 — Registration and Duties of Real Estate Agents
Property brokers and agents — including anyone who introduces buyers and sellers for a fee — must register with the state RERA before facilitating any sale; one registration covers the whole state. They also cannot deal in unregistered projects or make false claims.

K-RERA forms - Karnataka project/agent registration and complaints
Karnataka's RERA (K-RERA) follows the same broad structure as other states: promoters register projects, agents register separately after any required exam/process, and buyers file complaints online - all through the official K-RERA portal, before booking, marketing, or acting as a broker in the state.

Will registration and Power of Attorney registration
Registering a Will is optional but recommended, since a registered Will is harder to dispute and is preserved by the registrar. A Power of Attorney authorising someone to sell/manage property must generally be registered (or notarised/apostilled if executed abroad) before use - buyers should always verify a seller's POA is validly registered.
Will registration (optional, Section 18, Registration Act 1908) / Power of Attorney registration (Section 17/18, Registration Act 1908, mandatory in some states for property POAs) · in force · source
MahaRERA Form G - real estate agent registration
Any real estate agent/broker in Maharashtra facilitating the sale/purchase of a RERA-registered project must register with MahaRERA using Form G before dealing in such transactions, after clearing the mandatory MahaRERA agent examination. Acting as an unregistered agent attracts penalty.
